Body for Life - Day 9 - writing after cardio

I made myself a commitment: This time I’m going to do all my Body for Life workouts in the morning! The thing is…

I’m not really a morning type person. As a matter of fact people consider me to be some sort of an owl. I love staying up till 3-4 AM, and naturally I have the worst time getting up in the morning.

But now that I’m 30 and married and fat again… I thought maybe it’s time to change things a bit… maybe I’d use my BFL challenge as an incentive to get up early in the morning workout, go to work and at night go to sleep before midnight like most normal people do.

This had worked great for Week 1 - but last night I could not help it and stayed up again till 4. Now don’t get the wrong idea here. It’s not that I’m staying up to watch late night TV or something. It’s just that aside from my regular 9-7 work, I’m also starting my own little business on the side. So what I do is start working on something and before I know it it’s late at night.

SOOOO, why am I telling you all of this??? To make you proud of me! Even though it was extra special hard this time getting up… I managed to do it (even before 9!) and did a great HIIT cardio - elliptical trainer - workout. So we’re on day 9 and I have not yet missed a single workout. Good for me.

I promise to try and be good and turn in early tonight. I know that lack of sleep is a big reason for people gaining weight or in regards to the Body for Life program, not progressing as much as they thought…
