The Step by Step Approach to the Body for Life Program
To make the body for life program work for you, you shouldn’t see it as a one time 12 week project. This is a step by step journey.
Sometimes when we look at the whole picture. It is simply overwhelming. How can I keep this fitness regime??? 12 weeks - 6 workouts per week - Eating 6 healthy planned meals per day.
Hitting the gym everyday. Reaching my high points. You get tired just by thinking about it.
But this is where the step-by-step approach comes to the rescue:
Don’t do the Body for Life Program for 12 Weeks - Do it for 1 day everyday.
Ask yourself: “What are the things that I have to do today to stay on this journey for a better life…”
You don’t have to eat right forever - just eat right - now. You don’t have to go to the gym forever - just go to the gym as you planned today. You don’t have 45 minutes of challenging upper body weight training in front of you. You just have this one set in this one exercise to do.
Thinking this way will help you build the small habits that you need to continue on this journey, not just for the initial 12 weeks… but as long as you’d like.
And this is the key to succeeding in your Body for Life Challenge - Remember:
If you’re in it to get the results the champions get in only 12 weeks… Chances are, you’re going to be disappointed. The truth is very few people achieve such results in such a short time.
But if you’re in it for this minute… for the next hour - day or week -> to see yourself getting better each week!
You will be amazed at the results you’ll get… months will past and you will not recognize yourself. Not your physical self and not your mental self. The body for life program is not just about losing weight. It is also about winning the habits that will allow you to achieve anything you want in life.
So take it a day at a time… step by step.
