I just finished my third free day… I had 2 big meals, 1 a family dinner at my parent’s apartment the other in a restaurant celebrating a friends birthday.

The free day is an integral part of the Body for Life Program. Should I be feeling bad when my free day is over? Well… I know that if I don’t take these “free days” my weight loss would be much faster, but I keep reminding my self (with a smile) that I wouldn’t last long in a weight loss and fitness program that would completely deny me of these small pleasures for months and months.

So to be able to pass the Body for Life Challenge “Free Day” blues - I will not weigh myself tomorrow and just continue as if nothing happened, and actually nothing did. I was just following through with the program’s guidelines.

My body needed this rest as it is preparing for week 4 to come. I was wondering today if pushing my self with every body for life workout - won’t mean that my body will be constantly soar as it is a little now.

I hope that these are just adjustment times and that in a few weeks my body would be able to recover much more quickly from these workouts.

Week 4 is starting and I plan on taking progress photos by the end of this week. This is the ultimate test for seeing how I’m doing with this challenge.

I hope that I’ll have good things to report.
