Body for Life - Day 25 - The Tao of the Program
First of all, let me tell you that my feet are getting better. They’re almost back to normal.
What I wanted to talk about this time was the about the Tao of the Body for Life Program… let me explain what I mean…
Sometimes in life we’re handed a map and directions for our goals. We know what we have to do and where we have to go, in order to achieve our goals. Most people think that the reason they are failing at something is lack of knowledge and that maybe true. But for some of us there might be bigger obstacles.
There is a voice inside our heads that keeps talking to us day and night… this voice can tell us great things about ourselves… but it can also have devastating impact in our lives.
This voice in our head can insert fear, doubt and hesitation in almost everything we do. It can turn us into frozen people. The living dead.
How does this relate to the Body for Life Challenge? Well… this program has given us a map. A map with directions to a happier, healthier and prettier life. Eat healthy, Workout 6 times a week, push yourself to the limit, and you will be there.
No one promised the results would come within a week. But the progress will! It can not happen any other way! If you just follow the program, stay calm, trust it and let go, you will come closer to your goals with every step you take.
You will workout and build muscles and eat right and lose fat. It will happen! Everyday is the step in the right direction.
If you’re not a pro. If you just want to give the Body for Life Program a chance. Don’t try to tweak it every month. Don’t add workouts, cut meals, change the plan… Give yourself a break. Give your doubting inner voice a break. Let go and Trust yourself.
It might take weeks months or even a year. But following the map. You will get to your destination.
